ExpEnded Love: Showcase

We love art. And ExpEnded Love is a festival-like night in Worm where we celebrate different ways of being, ways of loving, ways of talking, ways of experimenting. We welcome the dark and cold months with a winter showcase, sharing the ‘thrill of the first time’ !

One ticket gives access to all. Come in: we work hard to surprise you!

We start early with the launch of Worm’s MEGAzine and the celebration of our November resident artist Giulia Zabarella. After sending Danya Pilchen to Freisen during summer, we conclude our 2026 international exchange programme with the Trans European Upper Bavaria network. Drinks and bites to start the evening festive!

Meanwhile, you can catch our latest art exhibition, where three recent graduates from three different art academies meet: a collaboration between Stijn van Casteren (HKU), Sam Jansen (PZI) and Adriana Joëlle(Kask Gent). A post-human digital space.

The evening continues with neo-classical cello player and composer Ilan Bedner who’s been exploring how to bring his upcoming music album Paradise 2121 in a visual installation setting. The concept album tells the futuristic story of Emma and her A.I. lover Pandora.

Then we go Messy Night! Drek Manor presents the very first MESSY Night in Worm, the start of a series where Worm x Drek celebrate and support drag performance art, presenting local and national artists, starting and experienced talents.

Last but not least, there’s a new DJ in town! As we love talent development at all ages, DJ Helt will build a techno party in our bar. Is it dull to say, voetjes van de vloer?

Yes, yes, we know; too many things for one soul to take in, but we want to burn before winter starts!
